Michael Cummings

Michael Cummings is a Principal of A&M Capital Partners (“AMCP”). Michael is responsible for originating, supervising and realizing investments in AMCP’s targeted sectors. Current investment areas of focus include tech-enabled business services, with emphasis on financial and insurance services.

Prior to joining AMCP, Michael spent 10 years at Boston-based private equity firm Abry Partners, where he analyzed middle-market buyout and structured equity investments across several growth-oriented sectors, with emphasis covering financial and insurance services, both in the United States and across Europe. While at Abry, he invested $1.7 billion of equity across 15 investments and served on 11 boards.

Prior to Abry, Michael began his career in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group within the Investment Banking division of J.P. Morgan.

Michael grew up in Downeast Maine and graduated cum laude from Bowdoin College, where he majored in Mathematics.
